Job Description:
Our government client is seeking Help Desk Technicians for a long term contract. Candidates must be bilingual and possess Enhanced Security clearance. The position involves a wide variety of work that changes daily including:
- servicing clients in the set up, use, training, troubleshooting and problem solving of software products, hardware and services etc.
- exceptional verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills as they communicate with clients via phone and email
- analyze, diagnose and resolve client issues while thoroughly documenting all client service interaction

The ideal candidate will have::
  • a minimum of 2 years help desk experience
  • the ability to communicate in both official languages (french & english)
  • experience installing Windows 2000/XP on workstations
  • experience installing Internet Explorer, Office 2000 and Outlook 2000
  • knowledge and experience with TCP/IP and Ethernet
  • knowledge and experience using remote administration and support tools
  • experience providing problem support to users in a MS Windows/Office environment
